Castiel x Child!reader - Picnic in the bunker!

You were sitting on the sofa and watching Disney Movies in the bunker. Dean went to the store to get a few things that apparently he needed for a case and Sam said he had to do a research. So now you were completely alone and you weren't okay with that.

I wonder what Cas’s doing. – You said to yourself.

You laid on the couch because sitting position was uncomfortable to you. You grabbed your teddy bear and covered yourself with colorful blanket. You fell asleep to the sounds coming from the movie.

When you woke up you felt that your head was lying on something that was not part of the couch. Your head was lying on someone’s knee. When you opened your eyes you saw Castiel who was paying attention to the movie.

„Cas?” – You quietly asked. Cas looked at you and smiled.

„Oh, hello (Y/N). I heard you were calling me, but when I appeared, you were asleep. I didn’t want to wake you so I started to watch the things which were actually on the screen. Did I wake you?” Cas said with worry in his eyes.

„Don’t worry Cas, you didn’t wake me. I’m happy that you’re here. I was so bored sitting here alone. There was nobody who I could talk to. Maybe we could do something together after we end this movie?” – You asked and point to the screen.

„Of course, (Y/N)” – Cas said.

While watching Cas noticed something that caught your attention.

„(Y/N), why this characters are sitting on the blanket in the park and eating sandwiches and playing on the grass?” Cas said confused.

You laughted at him. – „They are on picnic Cas. It’s kind of meeting with family or friends, I think. It’s nice because you can spend time with your closest when you normally don’t have time. I wanted to make one, but I didn’t have anyone who could accompany me.” – You said with sadness in your eyes.

„So why don't we do it now?” – Cas asked

„Really? You want to do picnic with me?” – You asked with disbelief.

„Sure!” – Cas shouted little too loud with smile playing on his lips.

„Yay!” – You shouted. Your eyes were filled with excitement. You ran over to the window. The smile dissapeared from your face. It was raining. When Cas came closer to you, you turned back to him with tears in your eyes.

„Cas.. it’s raining.” – You said being close to crying. You hug yourself and Cas took you in his arms and you started to cry in his shoulder. He rubbed your back and in his mind appeared a new idea.

„Hey (Y/N), what do you think about having a picnic in the bunker?” – Cas asked you.
You automatically stopped crying and looked in his eyes. On your face appear smile again.

„Of course! Thanks Cas!” – You said while hugging him.

„So what about that. I will find cups, plates, cutlery, tea and other things and you will find a blanket and place for a picnic?”
-„Okay!”

While Cas was searching for things you found a place and put a blanket on the floor. You were so excited waiting for Cas until he finally came to you. You spread the things over the blanket and Cas placed pie on the biggest plate. You don’t know how long you were sitting with Cas until Sam and Dean came to you.
„
Hey, what are two doing?” – Dean asked while Sam was standing next to him.

„We’re on picnic!” – Cas and you shouted at the same time.

Brothers grinned and Sam asked:

„Mind, if we join you?”

You were the happiest person in the world. Maybe you should do a picnic with Cas more often?
